A Community Connection
United Neighbors Community Connection Coalition is a part of a network of
twenty-two coalitions across the state whose goal is to strengthen and
increase neighborhood based activities that empower residents and build
partnerships.
The mission of America’s Promise is to mobilize people from every sector
of American life to build the character and competence of our nation’s
youth by fulfilling Five Promises. We provide youth with 1. ongoing relationships with caring adults, 2. safe places with structured activities during non-school hours, 3.healthy start and future, 4. marketable skills through effective education, 5. opportunities to give back through community service.
